Ok, I know, I haven’t posted in a long time, but I’m back and with something a little different!
I’m in such a festive mood already (I’m definitely a ‘Christmas’ person!) and I wanted to introduce to you (and do a cheeky review on) one of my favourite nail polishes for this season: ‘Barry M’s Matte nail paint’ in ‘Crush’.
It is such a beautiful dark red colour and the matte effect makes it look absolutely gorgeous on the nails. For £3.99, it is also well worth the money, and you only need a couple of layers, or even just the one, to get the full burst of colour, (depending on how dark you want it to look). It is also very well-lasting; mine lasted for quite a while, and that was without a matte top-coat (as I haven’t got round to getting one yet), so I am very impressed!
I would definitely recommend this nail varnish and almost any from Barry M as they are so reliable, easy to use, quick drying, and there is such a broad range of colours and effects to choose from!
My favourite (nail) Winter colours:
– Dark nudes or brown shades (chocolate brown)
– Navy blues/ midnight blue
– Crimson/ Deep red
– Silvers and greys
– Golds and coppers
And plenty of sparkles!
I’ve been looking around at Winter nail ideas quite a bit, and there are some lovely and really creative ones on Pinterest, which, if I had long nails and painting them was my forte (it really isn’t!), I would definitely be trying them out. However, as this is not the case, I would love to see some of the ideas you like the look of, and even ones you have tried already.
Thanks for reading!
